The last mild day of Autumn before the Winter storms cut in ?
58ºF is warmer than usual for this time of year. I haven't had to put the heating on yet. Mind you, I'm a hardy Northerner from before the era of central heating, double glazing and other fads.

A grey, damp, chilly day that did not live up to the forecast of intermittent sunshine. Spent most of inside the large Princess of Wales Conservatory at Kew, which was at least warm but not a lot of daylight for taking photographs.
