Auditoriums
What is an auditorium?
An auditorium is a special conference area, an electronic lecture hall where people gather for events or to hear a special speaker.

Interacting with other guests

1. When you enter an auditorium you join a row of up to eight people. Text you type appears to the other people in your row, and you see text they type. If this gets too distracting, click List Rows and click Turn Chat Off.

2. Click Who's in Row to list other guests in your row. You may send a Private Message or get a member profile.

3. Click List Rows to show how many other rows are in use, and how many people are in each row. To find someone in the auditorium, click Find Member, type the person's username and click Find. Or, to check row by row for familiar names, select a row and click Who's in Row.

4. To switch to a different row, click List Rows. You can select a row and click Enter Row or you can create a new row. Auditoriums are limited to 25 rows.

Interacting with the speaker and hosts

1. Special guest(s) are on stage, along with a host and usually a co-host or two. Their text appears along with text from your row.

2. Click Talk to Emcee to interact with the hosts. Use this to ask a question or send a comment, to vote on topics or to bid at some events. These messages go to the host, who sends them to the speaker, usually in the order received.
